The Lord has used Light of the World Productions to bring together talented and gifted Christians using music and drama in multiple media. Those involved have brought comfort, laughter, strengthening and encouragement to thousands of believers and non-believers.
We started in 1982 in Utica, N.Y. We developed a series of one minute television commercials featuring Christians ministering to others. These were run on local TV during Life Styles of the Rich and Famous. Christian teens and members of various churches acted in these "mini stories."Written and produced by Lori Konrady.
In 1982-1983 we developed and produced radio commercials, which aired on a local Rock radio channel featuring local teens talking with other teens about Jesus and prayer. In 1985 "Witness in Song"was developed. Twelve talented young people from area churches sang their favorite Christian songs, giving their testimony and witness to their walk with Jesus. This touring company visited 15 area churches. Directed and produced by Lori Konrady.
In 1998 Lori Konrady completed the musical "Arise." In 2001, 'Arise"was produced in a Sarasota, FL Church. This joyful and touching play is about the family of the little girl raised from the dead and their miraculous encounter with Jesus.
In 2000 Lori Konrady completed the musical "Blind Sight." In 2003, "Blind Sight,"a warm and wonderful story of the man born blind and his courageous stand for Jesus after Jesus healed him was produced in a Sarasota, FL church.
In 2002 Lori Konrady completed the musical "Best Friends," and in 2004 Lori Konrady completed the contemporary musical "Jesse."In 2005 Radio Commercials on Joy FM radio were produced and written by Lori Konrady. Themes included: pray with your family and tell your friends about Jesus. In 2006 the play "Jesse" was released for performance.
